My Story

Hi! I’m Kelli – a proud Elk Grove native, mother, wife, and the founder of Helios Artistry Tans, where we specialize in custom airbrush spray tans and professional teeth whitening for the Sacramento and surrounding areas.

Spray tanning has always been more than just a beauty routine for me—it’s been a personal form of self-care. Whether I was heading out of town or simply needed a little pick-me-up, a good spray tan gave me that extra boost of confidence and glow. After having kids, like so many women, I started feeling self-conscious in my own skin—especially after developing spider veins at a young age from years on my feet in the restaurant industry (culinary is my background!). Spray tanning helped me feel confident again and made a real difference in how I showed up in my everyday life. That feeling is exactly what I want to give to every client who walks through my doors.

Teeth whitening became a passion of mine after years of staining (yes, I’m a Coca-Cola girl!) and sensitivity issues with over-the-counter strips. I discovered a peroxide-based method that actually worked without destroying my gums, and I fell in love. Now I keep my smile bright with regular sessions—and help others do the same.

I’ve had the joy of spray tanning women from ages 10 to 80, and I can confidently say: there is no age limit on feeling good in your skin. My salon is a judgment-free zone where you can come as you are, be pampered, and leave feeling refreshed, radiant, and ready to take on the world.
